ReplyDeletecute
Cause it's my favorite color. :)
ReplyDeletewhat size hook did you use?
ReplyDeletejenni; i like your llama. i am making llamas for our library children reading program. i wish i had seen your pattern before i started sewing 12 of them. ps. green is my favorite color to. my sister calls me meany, jeannie, greenie.
ReplyDeleteI think I did something wrong. The body isn't straight behind the head, it's kinda off to the side. Hmm. Will have to try again I think.
ReplyDeleteP.S. The green is awesome! I actually have the same colour and am using that :P
Iv had the same problem with the head being at an angle. Do you slip stitch into the first stitch on every round?
ReplyDeleteSame problem! the head is on nearly backwards and yet I did everything to the letter...
ReplyDeleteMine sucks it looks like a demented egg the neck didn't come out like it did in your picture and the body looks like it has some sort of weird froth of it please help me im making it for my best friends birthday an I usually don't have problems with reading patterns if you could help that would be amazing
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Hey everyone same thing but don't worry just twist it straght mine looked great.
DeleteThe pattern is just like that and you can move the increases around if it really bothers u so much.
:)
Hey sorry you guys are having difficulties with the pattern. It was the first one I wrote. I can make one in a little bit and see if I can't fix it so the head doesn't twist. It is probably just a matter of moving some stitches around. :)
ReplyDeleteWait.. I definitely sl st and chain up in my rounds. So maybe if you were doing complete rounds it would turn out weird. Sorry I will make sure I add that to the patterns.
ReplyDeleteThanks SOOOOO much I will totally try this again!
ReplyDeleteDk you slip stitch and chain one on the legs Tail and ears?
ReplyDeleteYeah I hate working in complete rounds and the seam doesn't bother me.
ReplyDeleteMy head is on backwards I don't know what happened please help.
ReplyDeleteNever mind I got it to be straight :)
DeleteOh good! Did it turn out well?
DeleteYes it is way amazing!
DeleteNot entirely sure this will work, but I made a really cute little guy for my friend, added a little hairdo and a smile. Thank you so much for the pattern :) Maddy

He is so cute!! I never thought about putting hair on them. So adorable.
DeleteThanks for the pattern! I just made one for my friend, and it's super adorable! My head started coming out backward even though I added a sl st, but I just switched some stitches around and it came out perfectly. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern! Im just confused about rows 26-28, what do you mean dec around? How do you go from 36 to 30 stitches? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteFor row 26-28 repeat pattern around.
DeleteEG. 4 sc 1 dec 4 sc 1 dec etc
Hope this helps! :D
26-28:
Delete"Row 26 4 sc, 1 dec around (30)
Row 27 3 sc, 1 dec around (24)
Row 28 2 sc, 1 dec around (18)"
The stitches are getting less, not more so you wouldn't be going from 30 to 36 anyways!
I made a super adorable white sparkly llama with a curly forelock and some hair on the chest area! I don't know if you know, but you llama is supposedly "inside out"

Anyways thanks for the pattern it is waaay amazing for your first one!
I do know that I crochet "inside out". I actually prefer the way it looks, but that's just me. :)
